Santa Claus waves as he walks down the boarding stairs after arriving from Finland at Narita Airport in Chiba Prefecture on Friday. Officially recognized by the Santa Claus Foundation, for which Finnair serves as a sponsor, Santa arrived on a direct flight from Helsinki instead of riding his sleigh and reindeer. He will greet children at Christmas events in Tokyo, Osaka and other locations until Dec. 13.
（英字新聞記事から。。。）北欧フィンランドからのサンタクロースが３０日、成田空港に到着した。１２月１３日まで、東京や大阪など各地のクリスマスイベントに参加し、子供たちと交流する。
来日したのは、フィンランド航空などがスポンサーを務める「サンタクロース財団」の公認サンタ。トナカイとソリの代わりにヘルシンキからの直行便で到着すると、日本語で「コンニチハ」とあいさつし、にこやかにタラップを下りた。
学院は、今月の２２日（土）１５時より、Cona Kagoshima で開催。アメリカ人のサンタクロースが今年もやってくるかも？
